How rolls play out
Quick tips to read the tables below at a glance.
Difficulty (DC): The number you need to meet or beat. Combat clashes use DC 100; most other actions use DC 50.
Your roll: Add the stats named in your roll box, then include any level bonus. That total is what you bring to the check.
Their roll: If a second box appears, the other side gets that amount. Subtract it from your roll before comparing to the DC.
