With just a bit of spit and a rag, you seem unusually adept at scrubbing away stains that no one else can. Your clothes stay a tad brighter, your hands always feel fresh, and mud seems to leap from your boots. Friends say you just have 'clean hands.'

Sometimes your stick or glove just seems to get a little farther than it ought to, snatching up loose pucks or catching the last edge of a sleeve before a teammate tumbles. You chalk it up to pure effort and maybe a dash of Midwestern luck.
